Australia’s biggest art show is making its Brisbane debut on July 26–26, bringing more than 12,000 original (and anonymous) artworks to town for one mammoth weekend. With every piece priced at $100, the Incognito Art Show is lowering barriers and inspiring a new generation of art collectors and supporters.
Buying art can be an intimidating thing. But art isn’t confined to giant, wall-sized canvases with heavy frames and a heavier price point. Sometimes the best art is smaller, more affordable and more meaningful.
That’s why the Incognito Art Show is as popular as it is. Hailed as Australia’s biggest art show, the event brings together thousands of pieces from some of the country’s most celebrated artists and puts them on sale in one room.
Across one mammoth weekend at the end of July, the Incognito Art Show will hit Brisbane, taking over a cavernous space at Long Island Brisbane to display more than 12,000 original artworks, all available for sale at $100 each.
Thousands of A5 artworks will be on display, donated by up-and-comers, mid-career creatives and heralded artists. The catch? You won’t know whose artwork is whose, which means each ‘incognito’ piece is appraised on its own artistic merits and not through name or prestige.
Now in its sixth year, 2026 marks the first time Incognito Art Show has come to Brisbane, joining Sydney and Townsville as part of a three-stop east coast tour. All profits from this year’s Incognito Art Show helps fund professional development programs for artists with disability, including Access Arts in Brisbane.
“Incognito has cemented itself as a key date on the Australian arts calendar, with art lovers lining up around the block each year to enjoy the fun of the mystery, support Australian artists and pick up high-quality art for a fraction of the price,” says Incognito Art Show co-founder David Liston.
Incognito Art Show will be running at Long Island Brisbane from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday July 25 and from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday July 26. Pieces will also be available to purchase online from 6:00 pm on Sunday July 26. Find out more here.
