A weekend-long food festival sits at the heart of Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, and it’s jam-packed with delectable new experiences. To make the most of FEASTival in 2026, explore our guide to the event’s most unmissable happenings.
FEASTival returns to Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, running over an entire weekend from September 26–27 with a full roster of culinary capers to get amongst.
Situated in the leafy green surrounds of Queens Park, this two-day food fiesta includes entry to Sip & Savour tasting sessions, the Flavour Lab chef stage, flower crown making, Cubby House kids’ zone, food stalls, bars, live music and entertainment all weekend to keep the vibes flowing.
There’s plenty to pack into your day, so we’d recommend planning ahead to ensure you don’t miss out on any of these delicious affairs.
Flavour Lab
Your FEASTival ticket includes access to the Flavour Lab stage, where a line-up of celebrity chefs will prepare dishes live on stage, giving you practical tips and tricks to try in your own home kitchen.
Celebrated Indigenous chef Nornie Bero will headline the event, best known for championing First Nations cuisine and storytelling through food. Connecting country, culture and community to food, Nornie melds ancient knowledge with contemporary skills to dish up vibrant and soulful food.
Live on stage cooking emu, crocodile and kangaroo with fire and flair, Nornie isn’t the only star you’ll spot.
Simon Toohey will be bringing his signature boundary-pushing cooking style to the stage, showcasing the best of local produce.
For lovers of Mediterranean cuisine, don’t miss Dominique Rizzo on stage, as she takes the audience on a journey melding flavour, culture and craft.
For session times and more information, check out the FEASTival guide.
Sip & Savour
Another complementary addition to your FEASTival entry is the Sip & Savour sessions, designed for both entry-level sippers and true connoisseurs of a wine list or brewery line-up.
There are wine and beer tastings hosted at various times during both days, so make sure you’ve checked out the FEASTival guide to see what time you need to be ready to enjoy wine from Dear Vincent Wines, Nuova Scuola Wines and Riversands Wines.
For the beer appreciation society, the sessions are hosted by Your Mates Brewing and will give you the inside scoop on Southeast Queensland’s craft brewing scene.
Canopy Club
Whilst there are inclusions aplenty with your ticket, you can also choose to upgrade your experience. One in particular could take your culinary escapades to new levels of comfort, with the Canopy Club add-on.
Each ticket to the Canopy Club covers entry for two adults to a reserved seating area, tucked underneath the shade of an avenue of trees. You’ll be seated right near the stage for the best view, and you also receive your choice of a four-pack of craft beer or a bottle of wine, a stubby cooler or a reusable wine glass. If all of that wasn’t enough – you’ll also receive two food vouchers to use with onsite vendors, to keep the deliciousness flowing.
