Surfers Paradise has a striking new arrival in Hotel Jardin – a three-level dining and entertainment precinct set to play a starring role in the summer ahead. Stage one introduces the Lobby Bar, a sultry Piano Bar and the lush pan-Asian SABA Kitchen, guided by acclaimed chef Minh Le. With plates of yuzu sashimi, robata-grilled skewers and honey-glazed duck served among velvet textures and live music, the venue hums with a mood that feels both fresh and unmistakably iconic. Three years in the making, Padre Brewing Co. has finally opened the doors to its custom-built Miami brewery – and it’s a beauty! Part brewery, part restaurant, part community hangout, the space blends polished coastal design with handcrafted beer and a food offering designed to match. Small but mighty, Relaxed Espresso is Mermaid Beach’s newest caffeine fix – a minimalist nook with concrete seating, black-and-white film prints and a hip-hop soundtrack. Owner Josh Key pours Therefore coffee with precision, pairing it with pastries from The Bread Social and a simple but satisfying toastie line-up on the way. Dog-friendly, intimate and overflowing with good vibes, it’s a tiny space that already has locals hooked.
